Did you know you can take home Microsoft Office for free?

UCD's current Microsoft Campus Agreement contract includes 'Work at Home Rights' for Microsoft Office.  This allows current full time and part time UCD faculty, staff, and administrative employees rights to run one copy of the licensed Campus Agreement products for work-related purposes on a laptop or home PC that they lease or own.

Where do you get it?

Staff can download Microsoft Office from our Software Download service which can be accessed from UCD Connect, click here for more information on where to download Microsoft Office or other software which is available to Staff.

To participate in this agreement, you must acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions listed below:
•  You will be required to remove the Software from your home machine when your employment by the UCD ends.
• You will be required to remove the Software from your home machine should the UCD end its agreement with Microsoft. The current agreement ends May 31, 2011.  Should this  license agreement expire we will post a notification on this web page.
• You must be a UCD employee.
• You must read and abide by the license agreement(s) associated with this Software when you install the software.
• No technical support is provided by Microsoft or the UCD in association with my work-at-home use.
• The minimum specifications to run the Software are listed on the Software Downloads website and at 
http://www.microsoft.com/office
• You are entitled to only one copy of the software for work at home use.
