Introducing Password Self Service

As part of our continuous drive to improve IT Security and to streamline the delivery of services, UCD IT Services is pleased to introduce Password Self Service. This service enables you, the account holder, to reset a lost or forgotten UCD Connect password without requiring intervention from the IT Helpdesk.

Using the service will send a secure password reset link to your personal email address. SISweb Terms and Conditions have been updated to reflect the fact that your personal email address will be used for the additional purpose of authorising password recovery of your UCD Connect account.

You should verify that your personal email address is correct and update it if appropriate. To verify/update your details:

  • Login to Infohub (staff) or SISweb (students) through UCD Connect
  • Click My Profile and then My Email Preferences
  • Verify or enter a new personal email address
  • Click Submit to save changes
