Change Your Password Or Risk Losing Access to Service
Mon, 26 February 18
From today if you are still using your temporary date of birth password (ddmmyy) or your password doesn't meet the required password standards, unless you change your password now you will lose access to service. This stronger password standard is being enforced in order to protect University information. Please change your password as soon as possible by going to UCD Connect and clicking on the password icon on the top right hand corner of the page.
Required Password Standards:
- Password is case sensitive
- Must be at least 8 characters long
- Must include at least 2 letters
- Must include at least 1 number
- Must have at least 1 lowercase letter
- Must have at least 1 uppercase letter
You will receive a limited number of logins before you lose access. If you spend your logins and lose access to service you can use the Password Self Service tool in UCD Connect (also available at https://www.ucd.ie/password) go to the Forgotten Password function to set a new stronger password.
Thank you to all students who have already made this change - you are helping to keep your University information safe.
