About Us

The UCD Research IT Service is guided by the Research IT Steering Group, which was established by Prof Des Fitzgerald, Vice-President for Research.

The Research IT Support Team was originally set up in response to the ‘Requirements of Information Technology to Support Research Activities’ Report. The report was the result of a consultative process by the Research Computing Committee.

Following the completion of the implementation of the results of this report, the UCD research community were given the opportunity to once again contribute to the future strategy of the service through the Research IT Survey Results 2007.

The Team
