Storage & Backups
UCD IT Services have traditionally provided highly available storage to all users. Given the large volumes of data created by the research community, customers can purchase data storage space on reliable highly available mirrored storage, hosted and administered by UCD IT Services.
Customers can also choose to have the data stored on the UCD storage solution backed up to tape.

Access and Support
The storage system can be accessed easily and quickly via the existing ethernet network using iSCSI; allowing researchers to locate their servers either within the Research IT Data Centre or anywhere on the UCD network.
Customers interested in availing of this opportunity should complete the Storage Query Form.
