UCD Targeted Phishing email

Recently, there have been a number of targeted phishing attacks directed at UCD users specifically.

Users are advised to assume that mails such as the example below are malicious in nature and should be avoided. We remind users that IT Services does not request users to provide their password for any support related purpose.

Please do not respond to these emails or click on links contained in the mail.

If you have followed any instructions in this type of email or are unsure as to whether an email is from a legitimate source, please contact UCD IT Services on 716 2700 or e-mail us at  ithelpdesk@ucd.ie.
