Request new or upgraded software

To submit request for new or upgraded software follow the process below.

Note: For software application request/renewal timelines please see the Software Application Policy 


Step 1

Check the list of current software  to see if the program you want is already available in UCD.

Step 2

If the software is not available, consult with your College IT Committee so they are aware of your software requirement.

Step 3

When ready, complete the software request form.

When you submit a request you will receive an acknowledgement by email.

You will also be kept informed of the progress. After installation you will be asked to test the application to ensure that it is functioning correctly.

Note: You may be requested to fund the purchase of the software, in whole or in part. The requested application must be compatible with one of our software distribution systems.
