UCD Law Review Volume 11 Launched
The Chief Justice Mrs Justice Susan Denham recently launched Volume 11 of the UCD Law Review. A student-run, peer-reviewed journal, the issue of the Review contains an array of articles from Irish and international students, on topics including human rights, competition law, intellectual property law and land law. Speaking at the launch, the Chief Justice congratulated both the Editorial Board and the authors on the high standard of their articles.
The Review, which is in its twelfth year, is sponsored by Arthur Cox and Ms Jane Babb commended students on their involvement with the Review, noting that law firms value students who can write and edit effectively. The A&L Goodbody Prize for the most outstanding article published in Volume 11 went to Robert Ennis BCL International ’11 and currently a candidate for the LLM at Chicago University for his article on competition law and intellectual property rights. The editor of the review, Ms Liane Egan accepted the prize of Robert’s behalf from Mr Alan Roberts, a partner with A&L Goodbody.
