UCD highlighted as Irish provider of innovative LLM education
The 2011 Financial Times listing of LLM programmes (http://rankings.ft.com/lawschools/llm-2011-listing), compiled from information submitted by 82 schools from 18 countries, confirms a clear trend identified in the 2010 Financial Times special report on Global Legal Education (http://www.ft.com/intl/reports/llm-2010) - towards flexible, specialised and especially interdisciplinary LLM programmes, as a key element in personal and professional development for lawyers.
UCD School of Law is the only Irish institution to be included in the 2011 listing (http://rankings.ft.com/lawschools/ucd/llm-2011-listing#llm-2011-listing), which shows how UCD is meeting the rising demand for innovative, interdisciplinary LLM courses that appeal to students from all over the world and that can be studied on a part-time basis.
