Distinguished Guest Lecture in Employment Law
One of the highlights of the School of Law’s Professional Diploma in Employment Law is the Distinguished Guest Lecture. This year's speaker was Professor Catherine Barnard of the University of Cambridge and the title of her presentation was 'Retiring Gracefully: Age Discrimination, Retirement and EU Law'.

The lecture took place on 30 November 2011 in the John Hume Institute for Global Irish Studies in front of the diploma class and invited guests.

This year's lecture was held in collaboration with the Employment Law Association of Ireland, whose support for the post-lecture reception is gratefully acknowledged.
