UCD School of Law Doctoral Scholarships

The School of Law is pleased to offer two new doctoral scholarships in law from September 2012. The scholarships will provide tuition fees at the EU rate and a yearly stipend of €7,000.
The scholarships are tenable for a maximum of three years, renewable each year subject to satisfactory progress
The scholarships are available to new students commencing their doctoral studies in the School of Law for the first time in September 2012 on a full-time basis The scholarships are open to PhD candidates undertaking research in any area in the School of Law but applications in the areas of constitutional and administrative law, legal history, media law, privacy law and charity law and regulation are particularly welcome.
The scholarships are open to Irish, EU and international applicants. Any offer to an international applicant is conditional on the applicant demonstrating at the time of accepting the offer that s/he has sufficient funds to cover both the difference between the EU and international tuition fees and to supplement the living allowance to cover the cost of living in Dublin.
