International conference marks the 75th anniversary of Bunreacht na hEireann
The UCD Constitutional Studies Group recently hosted an international conference to mark the 75th anniversary of the enactment of the current Irish Constitution. The three-day event was launched by the Chief Justice of Ireland, Hon. Mrs. Justice Susan Denham and featured over 40 speakers on various aspects of Irish constitutional law. Speakers included members of the Irish judiciary, senior legal practitioners and academics from leading international research universities like Harvard, Princeton, Oxford, Melbourne and the London School of Economics. A selection of papers from the conference will be published by Bloomsbury Professional before the end of 2012.
