Minister Richard Bruton addresses UCD employment law conference
The School of Law's Annual Employment Law Conference, held in conjunction with the Employment Law Association of Ireland, took place on the 28th and 29th September 2012. The conference was opened by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, T.D., and featured contributions from Professor Colin Scott (UCD), Professor Keith Ewing (King's College London), Renate Hornung-Drauss (German Confederation of Employers), Dr Michael Doherty (DCU), Tom Evans (NI Department of Employment and Learning), Peter Ward SC, Professor Alan Neal (University of Warwick) and Ger Deering (Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation). Conference attendees included Carol Fawsitt, Hayes Solicitors, Alan Mulligan, An Garda Síochána, Pat Brady, Workplace Solutions, Niall McCutcheon, Equality Tribunal, and Padraig Dooley, National Employment Rights Authority.
