UCD Doctoral Student invited as a visiting scholar to the Max Planck Institution for Intellectual Property and Competition Law
Yichen Yang, PhD student and UCD-CSC Scholar has been approved to conduct part of her doctoral research as a Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law in Munich, Germany. The host institution, a member of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science, is the leading center for research on the interface between intellectual property and competition law in Europe. Yichen's research addresses the issue of regulation of anticompetitive effects of patent licensing under Chinese antimonopoly Law. Her work is being supervised by Professor Imelda Maher.
