Presentation of awards to UCD Entrance Scholars
On Friday, 19th November, 2010, UCD held a Ceremony in O'Reilly Hall for the presentation of awards to UCD Entrance Scholars. These awards were in recognition of their achievement in obtaining out-standing results in their Leaving Certificate Examination. Four first year students from the UCD School of Law were honoured with this accolade - Ella Adler, BCL History, Jack Kelly, BCL, Donal Swan, and Killian Breen, both BCL Politics.
The UCD Elite Athletes were also honoured at the Ceremony in recognition of their dedication to, and excellence in, sport. Sam Coghlan-Murray, 1st year BBL, has joined the UCD Elite Athlete Academy through his continuing achievements in Rugby and was awarded an Elite Athlete Scholarship.
