UCD LL.M. student wins first prize in Irish Environmental Law Association essay competition
UCD School of Law is delighted to congratulate Christina Götzelmann (LL.M., 2009-2010) on her achievement in winning first prize in the prestigious Irish Environmental Law Association (IELA) essay competition. Christina’s essay, entitled European Emissions Trading Scheme case-law in the light of the revised system under Directive 2009/29/EC, offered a critical discussion of the case law of the EU courts on the EU’s Emissions Trading Scheme to date, and considered the effects of the 2009 directive on this case law. Christina will be presenting her work at a meeting of the IELA in early 2011.
