UCD Doctoral Student chosen for RIA Graduate Research Seminar

Marek Martyniszyn, Ad Astra scholar and PhD candidate has had his paper accepted for the 2010 Royal Irish Academy Graduate Research Seminar on November 18. Marek will present his paper on State Defences in International Antitrust Litigation. This forms part of his doctoral thesis which he is writing under the supervision of Professor Imelda Maher.  The thesis examines the deficiencies in the competition regulation of export cartels and the challenges that poses for developing competition regimes.  He is one of seven graduate students from Irish universities selected to present their research. The Seminar will be chaired by members of the Academy Committee for International Relations and is open to  the  public.
