Professional Diploma in Employment Law Graduation
On Wednesday, 14th July 2010, thirty eight students graduated from the Professional Diploma in Employment Law. The graduation ceremony took place in Newman House, Stephen’s Green and was attended by many distinguished guests including, Professor John Jackson, Dean, UCD School of Law, Dermot Curran, Assistant Secretary General in the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment, Niall McCutcheon, Head of Equality Tribunal, Rhona Murphy, Head of Employment Law Services, IBEC, and Esther Lynch, Legislation and Social Affairs Officer, ICTU.
The Professional Diploma in Employment Law is a part-time course run over one academic year. The course attracts students from the legal world as well as those in Human Resources, Trade Unions and Industrial Relations roles.

The Course Director is , a senior lecturer in the UCD School of Law as well as a renowned practitioner in the area of Employment Law. Distinguished Guest Lecturers have included Kevin Duffy, Chair of the Labour Court; Ger Deering, Director of the National Employment Rights Authority; Professor Gerry Whyte,
