UCD academics to edit Legal Studies

Imelda Maher, Blanaid Clarke, Fiona de Londras and Colin Scott have been appointed as editors of the journal Legal Studies, by the Council of the Society of Legal Scholars of the UK and Ireland.  Legal Studies is the journal of the learned society which was founded in 1908 and has over 2,600 members. Published by Wiley-Blackwell, the journal is rated A* in the authoritative Australian Research Council listing of journals, and has one of the largest print runs of any UK or Irish academic law journal.  Professor Maher, the new general editor, said ‘it is a real privilege to take over the editorship of Legal Studies given the status of the journal, its extensive readership and its links to the Society of Legal Scholars.   It is a particular honour to bring the editorship of the journal to Dublin for the first time.  We aim to continue the excellent work of our predecessors and look forward to the challenges ahead.’
