The Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences funding schemes
The Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences has advertised funding schemes for
- PhD research including research into Conflict Resolution
- Postdoctoral research

The UCD School of Law provides a dynamic research environment in which forty PhD candidates and a number of postdoctoral researchers currently work alongside the full-time academic staff.
We welcome all enquiries from prospective PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers who are interested in pursuing work in the UCD School of Law and intend to apply to the Irish Research Council under these schemes. You can find out more about our research environment on our research pages.
All interested parties are invited to contact either Dr Gavin Barrett (the Director of Doctoral Studies) or Dr. Fiona de Londras (Deputy Director of Doctoral Studies) to discuss prospective research proposals and applications with a view to undertaking research in the UCD School of Law.
