Chen Chen is currently a PhD Candidate receiving the UCD-CSC joint scholarship to undertake a doctoral research under the supervision of Professor John Jackson in UCD. Her thesis focuses on a comparative research on the protection of the rights of defense lawyers in China and European countries from the perspective of human rights law. As an LLB graduate from Beijing Institute of Technology, Chen also holds a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English.
