Chuanman You is a PhD Candidate and UCD-CSC Scholar at the UCD School of Law. He is also a Junior Academic Visitor in Corporate Law to Faculty of Law, University of Oxford during 2010/2011 academic year. Chuanman is currently conducting his doctoral research over Takeovers Law, under the supervision of Professor Blanaid Clarke. He is also a lecturer of Chinese Law in the UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland/ Irish Institute for Chinese Studies. Chuanman holds an LL.M from Renmin University and an LL.M from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Chongqing, China. He is a qualified legal practitioner in China. In the autumn of 2006, he also passed the Chinese National Judicial Exam, hence qualified as a legal practitioner in China.
