Dan Hayden is a 2010-2012 IRCHSS Government of Ireland Doctoral Scholar. He was the first candidate to enter UCD's European Law and Governance PhD Programme and is now in his second year. Dan’s research examines the strategic use of branding by public and private regulatory regimes to achieve their legitimacy and compliance goals and is supervised by Prof. Colin Scott. Dan holds BA (English and French) and MEconSc (European Economic and Public Affairs) degrees from UCD.
