Helen H. Whelan is a PhD candidate in the School of Law, UCD. Her research is focused on the role of gender diversity in the composition of boards with particular reference to ISEQ companies. She is supervised by Prof. Blanaid Clarke. Helen is a graduate of UCD (BA) and the University of Leicester (LLM in European Union (Commercial) Law). Helen is a practising solicitor specialising in Corporate Law. She lectures and tutors trainee solicitors in the Law Society of Ireland.
