Mohammed Hossein Erfanmanesh holds a scholarship from the University of Tehran. He graduated with an LL.B. and LL.M. in Law from the School of Law, University of Tehran in 2006 and 2008 respectively. As a PhD candidate, he joined UCD in 2009 undertaking his doctoral research into the legal protection of traditional medicines. Mohammed’s research is co-supervised by Prof. Joe McMahon and Dr Máire ní Shuilleabháin. His research interest is in the area of the legal aspects of biodiversity, biopiracy, and biotechnology
