Yanxuedan Zhang is a PhD Candidate and UCD-CSC Scholar at the UCD School of Law. Before she came to UCD Law School, she had attained an LL.M in 2007 from the School of Law, Renmin University of China, Beijing, China. Her LL.M thesis, entitled ‘A Comparative Study on Environmental Risk of Chemicals Regulation between America and China’ earned an Excellent Reward and appears in the China Knowledge Database in 2011(http://cnki.net). She also holds a BA from South China University of Technology and is a registered lawyer in Shanghai Law Society. She is currently conducting her doctoral research on environmental risk assessment & management and chemical regulations, under the supervision of Dr. Suzanne Kingston.
