Biography:
| Phillip has been an Associate Professor of Intellectual Property Law at UCD since September 2012. He is also the Chair of the Expert Advisory Group on Trade Marks and Designs at the UK Intellectual Property Office and a Research Leader on Trade Mark and Custom at the Intellectual Property Institute. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the American Bar Association as well as the Intellectual Property Bar Association in England. |
Research Interests
| Phillip has undertaken research and published in relation to patent law, trade mark law, copyright law as well as broader issues of branding, innovation and policy. In addition to his core interest he also has an interest in media law, entertainment law, the practice and law relating to sponsorship and public law and he has also been published in relation these as well. |
