International research shows that mentoring by a caring adult raises the aspirations of mentored students, improves academic performance, and helps students stay engaged with their studies.

For a career in law, which requires a specific understanding of the professions and how to build a professional network for a successful career, mentoring can be particularly meaningful when linked to work placement opportunities.

Our mentoring programme for undergraduates matches law alumni to students and provides training and support to mentors for maximum efficacy.  We endeavour to provide internship opportunities and placement sponsorship for students, where feasible, as part of the mentoring process.
