This degree combines the discipline of Law with an understanding of political theory, political organisation, government and public affairs.
This programme will equip you with a knowledge of the principles and rules of law, together with an understanding of law in its broader political context, and an understanding of the relationship between law and politics. This degree will introduce you to fundamental legal concepts and principles, cultivate in you an ability to analyse law and engage in legal reasoning, and promote a critical understanding of how politics and political theory shape and develop law and society. You will also develop research skills in the fields of both law and politics.
