UCD LGBT Society is a social group which aims to provide a relaxed environment for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. You don't need identify as LGBT to join our society. We encourage anyone to join as long as you have an open mind and respect for people in the LGBT community.

Adjusting to college life can be difficult for any student, but when a student is also struggling with accepting or disclosing their seuxal or gender identity, college can become more complicated and challenging. As a college society, the people in UCD LGBT know and understand this situation, many of us have been through it, and some have yet to.

We try to support each other and respect each other's privacy, as part of this you can text or email us. If you feel too uncomfortable to come to an event, we can arrange for you to meet up with a committee member for a chat (confidentially of course).

New members are welcome at any time of the year, all you have to do is come along to any of our events, pay your e2 and we'll sign you up!

If you are too shy to come along, pop us and email or a text to our textline and some members of the committee can meet up with you beforehand to make you feel more comfortable. We're here to help!
