Welcome to the Library's blog page.
Keep up to date with Library news and events through the UCD Library's various blogs.
What is a Blog?
A blog (from "web log") is a user-generated website where entries are created in a journal style and displayed in reverse chronological order, i.e. the most recent entry first.
A typical blog combines text, images and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. These features, along with the reader's ability to comment on entries or posts, makes a blog an interactive user experience and blogs can be said to be part of the Web 2.0 or "next generation Web" phenomenon.
For a more detailed summary of what a blog is, please see the entry on blogs in Wikipedia.

This blog, "Science@UCD Library", has since been joined by the other blogs listed in the blogs page. These blogs can help keep you informed of events happening in the Library, changes and amendments to Library policy, news about new resources relevant to your studies, and news from the wider world! |
