The Irish Research Electronic Library is an initiative developed by the IUA Librarians’ Group and funded jointly by the SFI and the HEA. Its aim is to significantly increase the availability of a wide range electronic journal services to Irish university libraries.

All the titles listed on the IRel website can be accessed directly from the Library catalogue , as well as from our comprehensive listing of full text journals in the A-Z of Electronic Journals, or from our List of Library Databases.

A number of titles were already available to the UCD community before the IReL launch, and our access continues to be wholly funded by UCD for the following:
