About the Confucius Collection, also known as the Chinese Studies Collection.

The Confucius Collection

  • The Confucius Collection is currently held in UCD Library on behalf the UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland, who were donated it by the Office of Chinese Language Council International.
  • The collection holds resources in both English and Chinese.
  • This collection supports the teaching of the UCD Confucius Institute and its mission to develop stronger cultural and educational links between Ireland and China.
  • It is located adjacent to the Reference Collection on Level 2 of the James Joyce Library
  • Items from this collection, which includes books, DVDs and CDs, can be borrowed by UCD staff and students.
  • Members of the public are welcome to visit and view the collection.
