Special Collections holds the David Nolan collection.

The Collection

David Nolan was a former Professor of Italian in UCD.
This collection, which is of almost 400 items is focused on early editions of the works of Torquato Tasso including seven 16th century imprints, the earliest being 1586.
It was originally deposited in 1983-4 and bequeathed to UCD in 2008.

The collection can be consulted by the students and staff of UCD, and by external users, in the Special Collections Reading Room.
