How many books can I borrow from the different collections?
NB - Items may be recalled earlier than their original due date if requested by another reader. You will receive an e-mail or letter requesting the return of the book within seven days.

Students | Staff | External users

Undergraduates & Adult Education:

• 8 General Collection books for two weeks
• 3 Week Loans
• 3 Short Loans (48 hours - not renewable) or 4-Hour Loans

Postgraduates:

• 15 General Collection books for two weeks
• 3 Week Loans
• 3 Short Loans (48 hours - not renewable) or 4-Hour Loans

Permanent Academic & Administration Staff:

• 30 General Collection books for 60 days
• 3 Week Loans
• 3 Short Loans (48 hours - not renewable) or 4-Hour Loans

Hourly Paid Staff:

• 8 General Collection books for two weeks
• 3 Week Loans
• 3 Short Loans (48 hours - not renewable) or 4-Hour Loans

Visiting Academics:

• 8 General Collection books for two weeks
• 3 Week Loans
• 3 Short Loans (48 hours - not renewable) or 4-Hour Loans

External Borrowers:

• 8 General Collection books for two weeks
• 3 Week Loans
• 3 Short Loans (48 hours - not renewable) or 4-Hour Loans

SCONUL Borrowers:

• 8 General Collection books for two weeks
• 3 Week Loans
• 3 Short Loans (48 hours - not renewable) or 4-Hour Loans
