Our Resource Discovery Service

Information and support for using OneSearch are provided here.

OneSearch

On August 12th, 2014 we launched a completely new system for discovering and searching all of the Library collection.

Available from the Library home page, this system is branded as OneSearch and offers a single search box, providing instant access to the breadth of scholarly content that is held by UCD Library — this includes digital and print, audio and video, databases, single articles and entire e-journals and every format in between.

What you need to do

If you are providing direct links to records in the findit @UCDLibrary system they will need replacing with the persistent link found at the bottom of the full catalogue record for the resource: our e-resources are now all included in the catalogue.

This is an example of the URL to look for and use as your database or e-resource link:

Persistent link to this record: https://library.ucd.ie/iii/encore/record/C__Re1000503
