This page describes EndNote Web, the Web-based version of EndNote, and how to access it from anywhere.
What is EndNote Web?
With EndNote Web you can:
- Record, store and manage references
- Add references manually or search and import references from online databases and library catalogues
- Create subgroups of references and share these groups with others
- Use a feature called Cite While You Write to insert references and automatically create bibliographies for your papers in Microsoft Word, as well as Apple’s Pages 09
- Transfer your references between EndNote Web and desktop versions of EndNote.
How and where can I access EndNote Web?
EndNote Web is available for all students and staff at UCD. For authentication purposes you need to register first with EndNote Web while on campus. After creating your own user ID and password you can use EndNote Web on any computer with an internet connection.
How do I register?
- Go to My EndNoteweb and click on Sign Up to set up an account
- As part of the authentication process you will need to provide your email address
- Fill out the registration form, paying close attention to the password guidelines
- Do not use your UCD Connect login details
Once you have registered successfully, you can access EndNote Web from anywhere at www.myendnoteweb.com.
