PBL/EBL

We provide a variety of information literacy sessions for students using PBL/EBL modules.

How we can work with you

If you wish to organise a customised lecture or workshop, please contact the relevant College Liaison Librarian who will outline the options available.

We are committed to working with academic staff to support development of research skills in undergraduates, so they are able to locate, evaluate and synthesise information for effective problem solving.

Sessions range from introductions to the Library, the catalogue and using reading lists to more complex programmes involving developing search strategies, effective use of databases, the Internet and other resources such as EndNote, as well as information surrounding ethical issues such as plagiarism and copyright.

Your College Liaison Librarian can:

  • Work with you to embed information literacy skills into the school programme.
  • Design and deliver specific lectures, courses and training sessions.
  • Assist in creating learning outcomes and objectives for your information literacy modules.
