Group Study Rooms & Spaces

The Library provides rooms and spaces for group study work in the James Joyce, Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Libraries. These spaces are available for groups of 3 or more students and can be booked in advance.

Booking a Group Study Room

If you need to work with a group of three or more students there are study rooms and spaces available for you to use. These can be booked in advance.

Group Study Rooms

 

  • All group study rooms in James Joyce Library are located on Level 2.
  • Rooms can be booked at the Level 2 Information Desk.

15 MINUTE RULE: if rooms are not occupied within fifteen minutes of the start of the booked time then the room may be re-allocated to other users. 

  • 6 group study rooms are located on Level 1.
  • They can be booked one week in advance.
  • Each room can be booked for a maximum of two hours.
  • A group is defined as 3 – 8 students.
  • Rooms can be booked:

There is one group study room:

  • It can be booked up to one week in advance.
  • It is located on the lower level of the library.
  • Each room can be booked for a maximum of one hour.
  • A group is defined as 3-6 students.
  • Rooms can be booked:
