The Library provides rooms and spaces for group study work in the James Joyce, Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Libraries. These spaces are available for groups of 3 or more students and can be booked in advance.

15 MINUTE RULE: if rooms are not occupied within fifteen minutes of the start of the booked time then the room may be re-allocated to other users.
When there is a strong demand for group study spaces, e.g. in the lead up to exams, during the months of November-December and April-May, 6 extra stations are made available on Level 1 in the James Joyce Library.
These spaces do not need to be booked, students can use whatever place is available.
Talking is permitted in these spaces, but please keep the volume low.
Normal Library regulations apply in this area. The Library reserves the right to ask users to leave this space when there is too much noise, or if these regulations are breached.

There is one group study room:
