Students Unplugged - Advice for First Years

You arrive at university. What should you be doing? Where should you be going? When should you be there?

Making the move from secondary school to university can be a little bamboozling. There’s a lot of freedom, a lot of choice, and a lot of decisions to make.

For new UCD students, Orientation Week gives plenty of opportunity to get to know the campus and meet new classmates and college friends. Throughout the week, 400 volunteer Orientation Guides (all current UCD students) are on hand to welcome, help, and advise the newest members of the UCD Community.

From joining clubs to travelling the world, Students unplugged lets you hear UCD students’ top tips, right now:
