Mathematical Enrichment Programme
The School of Mathematical Sciences provides Mathematical Enrichment classes on Saturday mornings from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM, starting from 26th of January 2013. These classes are for talented students of mathematics in transition year, 5th year or 6th year. Our classes are designed to develop a sound understanding of mathematics and improve problem-solving skills. There is little overlap with the maths taught in school.
The venue is Theatre L (ground floor) in Newman building (this is building no. 39 on the map).
There will be a selection test on 23rd of February 2013 (which will take place in the same Theatre L as above, between 10.00AM-1.00 PM) after which the best 40-50 pupils will be selected and trained more intensively for the Irish Mathematical Olympiad.
Starting from Saturday 2nd of March, 2013 the classes will take place between 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM in Room 326 (third floor) in Engineering Building. (This is building no. 49 on the map)
