Marine Renewable Energy Ireland (26/02/13)
Prof. Frederic Dias will be a PI in “Marine Renewable Energy Ireland” (MaREI), one of the seven centres in SFI’s largest joint state/industry research investment (€300m) in Irish history announced on 25 February 2013.
The SFI Research Centre MaREI will address major scientific and socio-economic challenges related to the optimized development and deployment of Marine Renewable Energy devices, the connection of such devices to the national grid, and novel methods for storing the energy generated.
