School of Mathematical Sciences PhD Research Opportunities (posted:17/04/14)

The Research demonstratorships will be available for up to 4 years full time PhD studies. The total value of the payment of the Research Demonstratorship programme is valued at €15,000 per annum (tax free). This will include tutorial duties. Successful applicants who do not qualify for any external fee support will in addition be covered for 50% fees. Please see table for funded topics...

The closing date for applications is May 25th 2014.  Applications should be made via e-mail to the School administrator Clare Ryan, clare.ryan@ucd.ie.  The start date for these opportunities is September 2014.

An application should include as an email attachment the following documents (in PDF) in order to be considered:

1. State your topic of interest

2. A brief curriculum vitae

3. A personal statement letter (no more than 500 words)

4. Full copies of academic transcripts

5. 2 written academic references (please note that your references may be contacted, please ensure the written references contain contact details, telephone number and email address).
