Five Students Commenced the Research Placements (posted on 26.05.16)

Five undergraduate students were welcomed by the School of Mathematics and Statistics on their Undergraduate Summer Research placement. 

Participating students were selected among many applicants based on their proven academic performance and interest in the research topics. The research placement will last for six weeks. At the end of the term, the students will highlight their findings through presentations and posters.

This year’s participants are Darryl Connell (research supervisor Anthony Cronin), Michael O'Malley (research supervisor Andrew Parnell), Emily Lewanowski-Breen and Christopher Kennedy (research supervisor Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain) all from UCD and Daragh King (supervisor Eugene Kashdan) from NUI Maynooth.
