The MIE Programme is taken over two years
part-time. Each year covers two semesters starting in September and
finishing in early May the
following year. Lectures take place on Friday afternoons and
evenings and Saturday mornings with minimum disruption to the working week. The learning process is
augmented by project work, case studies and short assignments. Much of
the work is group based, optimising the learning experience. In addition to formal classroom and assignment
work, site visits and talks from business and industry specialists are
arranged. Participants are assessed using a combination of continuous assessment and end of semester examinations. |
