Engineers and other technology professionals with ambitions
to build and manage competitive operations are attracted to the MIE
Programme. The two year part-time Programme leads to a Master of Industrial Engineering Degree. It focuses on building on the technical and analytical skills of technical graduates, while augmenting these skills with business management expertise. The Programme caters for participants from manufacturing and service industries including public utilities, local authorities and the health service. Typically, participants are engineers who have a number of years experience. Science and other technology graduates with relevant experience also participate. Normally applicants will have a minimum of two years experience since obtaining their primary degree. In recent years, students have undertaken the MIE Programme
