Although the School’s primary focus is on the effective delivery of our undergraduate and graduate programmes, the Teaching & Learning Strategy Group is responsible for examining what is taught, how that knowledge is delivered and how the student learning is best assessed.
The T&L Strategy Group considers how well the School prepares its graduates for their career and what approaches and innovations should be introduced to respond to society’s expectations of professional clinical staff.
Like other pedagogues, Clinical Education is constantly evolving and any changes to our teaching or assessment strategies must be evidence-based and drive demonstrable improvements in our already high educational standards.
The Teaching & Learning Strategy Group acts as the first point of formal contact with the University's programme management structures for academics developing new programmes. The Teaching & Learning Strategy Group meets on a monthly basis under the chairmanship of the School Head of Teaching & Learning.
