Through the selfless act of donating your body to medical education, one can make a huge impact upon the life and wellbeing of others for generations to come.  The staff and students of the UCD School of Medicine & Medical Science deeply appreciate the generous donations which have been made in the past and which are continuing through our Body Donation Program.  This program allows us to continue teaching and research in medical science, training the next generation of doctors, radiographers, nurses and physiotherapists.

The Human Anatomy group handle all enquires and donations in a highly sensitive, discrete and confidential manner.  We liaise with registered whole-body donors, healthcare professionals, and funeral directors to ensure the ethical acquisition and proper burial or cremation of human remains.  A Family Room is available for family and friends to spend quiet private time with their loved one prior to final removal.

The School is eternally indebted to the many individuals who chose to donate their bodies to clinical education and their families who support this generous gift.  The UCD School of Medicine & Medical Science holds memorial services to honour and thank family and friends for their sacrifices.

The Human Anatomy group welcomes new enquiries to the Body Donation Program which may be made, in the strictest confidence, to Mr Gary Perry at +353 1 716 6617 between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday; a voicemail service operates outside of these times.  Gary holds a Masters Degree in Bereavement Studies that enables him to support donors and their families at the Body Donation Programme here at the UCD School of Medicine & Medical Science.
