Medical Graduates Association

Your Association

Founded in 1988, the UCD Medical Graduates Association together with the UCD Alumni Development Office play a vital role in keeping you in touch with your fellow alumni and with the University. Through the MGA, our graduates have the opportunity to build professional and social networks and to maintain old friendships and contacts. Currently, there are over 8,500 MB BCh BAO alumni on our database.

The Medical Graduates Association is your Association. It exists to help you maintain contact with your contemporaries and with the School and to help you avail of the many services that exist for UCD alumni. It offers graduates the chance to have a lifelong link to the Medical School and the University and gives you an opportunity to influence the School’s future.

Join with your global community of fellow graduates and capture the spirit of your time at UCD. Search the graduate database, find old friends, discover fellow graduates who live in your area and keep up-to-date with what is happening at your University. Continue to be a part of the UCD community worldwide. Stay in touch with people who have shared the UCD experience and share your aspirations for UCD School of Medicine & Medical Science.

Help us to maintain a vibrant alumni community by visiting this site regularly to update your contact details and by contributing helpful comments and suggestions.

Annual Alumni Reunion

A highlight in our Alumni calendar is the annual Class Reunion Celebration for Medicine classes who graduated 60, 50, 40, 30, 25, 20 and 10 years ago. This event is held each year during the May Bank Holiday. It comprises an afternoon of CME accredited scientific lectures given by current staff and members of the graduating classes. The scientific programme is followed by a celebratory Alumni Reunion dinner on the Friday evening.  The Saturday evening is left completely free to facilitate graduates who invariably arrange their own class-specific events.

The Graduating Years of 1952, 1962, 1972, 1982, 1987, 1992 and 2002 celebrated their reunion on Friday 4th May 2012. Next year we look forward to welcoming the classes of 1953, 1963, 1973, 1983, 1988, 1993 and 2003.
