Our reputation has been established by the many graduates who have practiced medicine and radiography with distinction in Ireland and across the world since the School's foundation in 1854. We strive to maintain a strong connection with our alumni across the globe with the assistance of the UCD Development & Alumni Relations and the UCD Medical Graduates Association.
The highlight of our alumni interaction is the annual Alumni Reunion Celebration for Medicine classes who graduated 60, 55, 50, 40, 30, 25, 20 and 10 years ago. It comprises an afternoon of CME accredited scientific lectures given by current staff and members of the graduating classes.
Following on from the successful Alumni Reunion 2016, the School will shortly commence planning for the 2017 Alumni Reunion. The event will take place on Friday 12th May 2017 at UCD Belfield and will feature the Classes of 1957, 1962, 1967, 1977, 1987, 1992, 1997, and 2007. As part of our graduate mentoring initiative, we will also be inviting the graduates of the Class of 2016, who will be completing their pre-registration internship year to join with the returning alumni. Further details will be posted here in due course.
We are always looking for class representatives to assist with disseminating reunion information to other class members. If you are interested in volunteering as a representative for your class, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We will post further information here closer to the event.
